CITY SEEKS INPUT ON DOWNTOWN HOUSING The city of South Bend's Department of Community & Economic Development is conducting a survey to better understand the downtown housing market. The brief survey will take less than five minutes to complete and will ask your opinion on several topics, including housing types, prices, and what makes a good urban neighborhood. Your input will help public officials and private developers to understand how they can most effectively act to improve the choices and quality of housing in and around downtown South Bend. Link to survey MAIN ATTRACTION     Knute Rockne: The Rest of the Story Studebaker National Museum  |  September 2- December 31 Everyone knows the story of Knute Rocke's football coaching career at the University of Notre Dame, but few people know the "rest of the story." Rockne was equally successful as a "celebrity salesman" for the Studebaker National Corporation at the same time he was 'winning one for the 'Gipper'.
