Employer
CB Richard Ellis | Bradley

Job Title
Associate, Brokerage Services

Hometown
Novi, Michigan

Hobbies/Interests
"Reading, home improvement projects, gardening, travel, movies, attending sporting events and spending time with family and friends."

Background
"I’ve lived in the area for nine years now, four of which were spent at Saint Mary’s College. My initial plans after graduation were to move to Chicago, but I got a job at the South Bend Tribune and decided to stay. I then transitioned into my current position with CBRE as an associate focusing on industrial/office properties and users, bought a house, got a dog...and here I am."

Why are you involved with YPN?
"I’m primarily involved to develop relationships with other YPs, both professionally and personally. YPN is also a great resource to expose and create various opportunities for YPs in our community.

Common Cents

As a follow-up to this section in the April newsletter, here are some additional suggestions to help save you money:

  • Don’t go to the grocery store hungry. You’re more likely to make impulse purchases that aren’t always necessary.
  • Check out local farmers’ markets for fresh produce, meats, plants/flowers and other items. Not only can you save money, you’re also helping the local economy.
  • Are you paying for more TV than what you really watch? Consider downgrading your service or cutting out cable altogether, even if just for the summer. Free-up more time to spend outside while the weather is nice!

Do you have a money-saving suggestion to share with other YPs? If so, e-mail it to Anneliese Woolford and we’ll share it in an upcoming newsletter.
