YPN BLOCK PARTY AND ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION THIS FRIDAY!
Join fellow YPs as we come together and celebrate the fourth anniversary of the Young Professionals Network. This year's celebration is incorporated into the Enshrinement Festival's Friday Downtown Block Party, which has been
organized by YPN volunteers.
Catch up with old friends and meet new ones participating in the
cornhole tournament and delving into mouth-watering ribs.
Live music starts at 6:00 p.m. by Mack Pherson and the Struts followed by
Stillshot. The evening wraps up with a spectacular
fireworks display.
Admission is FREE and no pre-registration is
required. Plan to join us and stay for an hour or
late into the night!

YPN Celebratory Event Check-in/Networking
Stop by the YPN table to register for great door prizes and get your free voucher to a Ribs Sampler
(available to the first 100 to check-in). The YPN tent will be located at the northwest corner of the Gridiron.

United Way
The United Way is looking to engage YPs in an upcoming strategy meeting
on Wednesday, August 5 at 7:30 a.m. at the Barnes & Thornburg
downtown South Bend office. The meeting could lead to future board of director positions.

City of South Bend
The City of South Bend is looking for YPs willing to participate in
a photo shoot to spotlight the city. The first session will include shots on the East Race Waterway on one of the following dates:
Sunday, July 26;
Saturday, August 1;
Sunday, August 2.

COMMUNITY CORNER
Venetian Fest The annual Venetian Festival in St. Joseph,
Mich., will be held
this weekend, July 16-19.
There will be live music on the main stage and atop the bluff, activities for all ages, as well as competitions on the beach. For more information go to

On the River 2009 On the River 2009 will be held August 14
and 15 in downtown South Bend where Colfax Avenue meets the St. Joseph River. The two-day event will feature Family Friday and the Saturday Beach Bash.
