the first glimpse of its fall blockbuster exhibition, From Leisure Painters to Icons: Visionary Americans 1860 to
Present, this Friday, October 17 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. View such notable artists as Jackson Pollock, Thomas Moran, Willem de Kooning, Roy Lichtenstein
and Andy Warhol.
This exclusive preview will incorporate WVPE's Jazz from Lincoln Center and a smashing performance by the Tom Hilliker
Trio. Call

YPN will host a Gallery of Arts event on Friday, November 14 at the
DeBartolo Performing Arts Center's presentation of the film,
The Sari Soldiers. Filmed over three years during the most
historic and pivotal time in Nepal's modern history, The Sari
Soldiers is an extraordinary story of six women's courageous
efforts to shape Nepal's future in the midst of an escalating civil
war against Maoist insurgents, and the king's crackdown on civil
liberties. Show time is at 6:30 p.m. and runs for approximately 90
minutes. The film's director, Julie Bridgham, will also be in
attendance to answer questions. Tickets are $6 per person and must be purchased in
advance with a credit card. A soda/popcorn combo will be available at the show
for just $2.00. Following the film, YPs will gather at Legends for
food, drinks and conversation. Deadline to RSVP for this event is
Wednesday, November 5.

The Emergence of the Relationship
Economy

The New Order of Things to Come
By: Scott Allen, Jay Deragon, Margaret Orem,
Carter Smith and Doc Searls
As we are in the midst of tailgate season, fall cookouts and football parties, it’s a good time to take a
look at how relationship building has evolved. This new book explores the factors of relationships and
illustrates how the nature of the marketplace is increasingly social.
It discusses how relationships form through social networking tools and the economies they create in the process. It's recommended reading for anyone developing social networking tools or just interested in the social networking phenomenon.
