ENGAGE
South Bend/Mishawaka

Providing new executives in our community an
interactive overview of St. Joseph County. Program dates are October 18 and 25, 2012.

 

   Two Dynamic Days Provide:

  • Informal contact with community leaders

  • Insider perspective on community resources and challenges

  • Hospitality at exclusive St. Joseph County venues

  • Networking with executive-level peers

  • Interactive overview of St. Joseph County

   Participants Will:

  • Gain a historical perspective of our community

  • Learn about the current and future economic development plans and the impact they will have on the community

  • Understand our local political climate and trends

  • Explore social service demands, community responses and opportunities for service

  • Observe the arts and cultural opportunities available

  • Gain an overview of educational options

  • Meet with established community leaders and trustees

  • Receive a custom St. Joseph County resource book

To develop the capacity and commitment of people to recognize, understand and respond to their community's trusteeship needs - through civic education, skill building and service.

Leadership South Bend/Mishawaka will build a community of leaders with the skills, awareness and motivation to help create opportunities and prosperity for others.
