Chamber Ambassadors

MISSION: To support The Chamber's mission by helping to grow and maintain a strong membership base, through the innovation and implementation of activities that will support membership recruitment, engagement and retention.

Ambassadors act as liaisons between The Chamber and our membership. They provide a communication link between The Chamber and our member businesses. On behalf of The Chamber, Ambassadors make courtesy calls to members, assist with referrals and retention, as well as serve as volunteers at Chamber events. These volunteer opportunities are another great way for Ambassadors to make contacts.

Ambassadors:
Welcome new Chamber members and establish relationships that secure membership.
Provide that all-important member-to-member link, understanding and responding to member needs, as only another member can.
Serve as resources for members, providing leadership and information about The Chamber.
Promote member satisfaction.
Develop professionally through participation in seminars and workshops.
Gain visibility for your business.

Ambassadors have a unique opportunity to bring attention to The Chamber, while at the same time, providing tremendous exposure for their own companies. Being a member of the team is a great way to increase business contacts and become more engaged in the business community. Ambassadors also benefit by receiving discounts on selected Chamber events.

To be considered for the Ambassador team, you must be actively employed by a Chamber member business for a minimum of six months and your employer must have been a Chamber member for a minimum of one year. And, you must fill out an application form. Your name may be placed on a waiting list if the number of Ambassadors is at capacity. Ambassadors are added to the team in January and June of each year.
