Michiana World Trade Council

In 2003, Indiana generated $16.4 billion in export sales. This made Indiana the 12th largest exporting state in the nation[1]. There is a huge market for international trade, and your business can take advantage of it. If your business is planning to compete in the international arena, to export or import products to or from other countries, or to get an inside look at the risks and opportunities of international trade, then the Michiana World Trade Council is for you.

The MWTC exists to promote and foster global trade within the Michiana community. It provides information, networking opportunities, related services and more to individuals and businesses involved in international business or interested in becoming involved. The MWTC will keep you updated with trade information necessary to do business abroad. If you are interested in increasing your sales volume, reducing your production costs and gaining a competitive advantage, joining the Michiana Word Trade Council is the perfect way to do so.

Members of the MWTC are invited to participate in various meetings, seminars and other events to help make international business contacts. These contacts can greatly increase your understanding and application of international trade policies. To join, there is a fee of $100 per fiscal year per business, or $50 per fiscal year for an individual.
